Darren emigrated from England to the West coast of Canada in 2004. During his career he has worked exclusively as a natural history cinematographer. This opportunity has afforded him the chance to travel to each province and territory within Canada and film many of the diverse wildlife and landscapes. From the rugged and unforgiving West coast; the hidden grasslands of the Prairies; the majestic Rocky Mountains; the Maritimes and into the Arctic. The opportunity to work on many blue chip series has created the chance to film many of Canada’s iconic, and lesser known animals.

Whether working on a series that require remote shoots in challenging terrain through to the challenges of working in a macro World, he is adept at working in both. With an extensive range off camera equipment available for rental including numerous RED cameras, CN20, Camblock/Kessler motion control systems, Jibs, Macro Positioners, Lenses, Drones, grip gear and many more.
